Greetings Bob, let us know how this piece of hardware holds up. Some of the e-opinion reviews are not so flattering. Thanks for all you do to help keep us in the know. Stan

Well I can't really tell. I've only scanned 2300 or so slides .. in 2 weeks .. but it's been flawless so far. I'll let you know if any problems develop.

Thanks for commenting. God bless you in your work.

my DH said it would have to remain priceless for a few more months - we aren't retired and are going through the real estate "adjustment" - loss of the subprime market has hit some areas of our business. BUT - love the slide! Memories are important - and yes brother - we are SOOO blessed - somedays I honestly stand on our porch and think "all this and heaven TOO"! Cannot speak for others - but I wasted (took out another word that wasn't family friendly) so many years on stuff that was completely not worth it.

This is really a neat post, Bob. I have been meaning to say that for days.

Let's get together next week. I will be in Prattville working with disaster victims tomorrow and maybe the rest of the week.

I will email you when I get free.

Linda, I honestly would never have guessed I'd be able to retire, as is, where I am now. I am just blown away at God's grace.

CB, I'd check my schedule but I don't have one to check, so I shall await your email.

I love old photos!

Thanks for the update on the Jamaican goats. I stand in awe at your level of goat knowledge!

Have a wonderful day!

PS ~ your advice in the Make Me Laugh contest was very entertaining. Thanks!

Asthmagirl: Eating a big helping of curried goat (so as not to embarrass your hostess) is a LOT of experience, and gives you a LOT of knowledge.

Thanks for the kind words, and for commenting.

What a wonderful legacy your family will have. I have YEARS of work to do, but it won't happen for YEARS.

Thank you for your very kind comment on my blog. Coming from someone with your terrific sense of humor and your way with words, it means a LOT.

And congratulations on your retirement!
